Almost every time when we tell people what we do, they ask us “what made you want to do that?”. So, we wanted to give a little insight into Bio-One and why we chose to open one here in Pensacola.
About Gabriel and Rebecca
Rebecca grew up in Hobart, IN. At 20 years old, she joined the Marine Corps for 4 years. After her time in the Marine Corps, she spent 2 years in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor. Rebecca also is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
Gabriel is originally from Bolivia. He moved to Gulf Breeze when he was 15 years old and graduated high school from there. Gabe served 6 years in the Army as well, and later spent 5 years in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor. Afghanistan is where Gabe and Rebecca met. Gabe holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management
Why Bio-One?
When searching for a business that fit my husband and I, we came across Bio-One. A company that specializes in crime scene cleanup, suicide cleanup, hoarding cleanup and much more. Instantly, we thought, what a unique way to help people in some of their greatest time of need. We are both prior military and having done some pretty extreme stuff already in our previous career, we definitely thought this was something we could handle. We contacted the Bio-One corporate office in Denver and knew right away that this was the business for us. The “help first, business second” mentality was apparent in every Bio-One owner we spoke with. We saw that Bio-One is not just a business, but a way to impact people lives. Because of this, Bio-One was the right choice for us. We knew we were with a business that really believes in helping others and serving the community.
We chose the Pensacola location because Gabe had graduated from Gulf Breeze High School and had always wanted to move back here. Bio-One was open in Pensacola, so we thought this was the perfect opportunity for us to move back and open a business.
