Coronavirus

As most of you have seen, coronavirus is spreading among us and can potentially be fatal to those with a weak immune system. Symptoms that you may experience after exposure to the coronavirus is: fever, cough and shortness of breath. The World Health Organization (WHO) encourages you to see a doctor if you have these symptoms or if you have traveled overseas recently.  WHO also says “Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.”

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 is spreading through Florida. Below are the current numbers for Florida Cases.

21 Positive cases involving Florida residents

2 Deaths involving Florida residents

155 Number of pending test results

319 Number of people currently being monitored

The CDC has learned that COVID-19 can spread by person to person. Respiratory droplets produced when a person sneezes or coughs can land on nearby people or on surfaces that we touch. If you touch a surface that someone has coughed on, and then touch your face then the virus may spread to you.

It is extremely important that any place impacted by COVID-19 be decontaminated properly. At Bio-One, we are ready to decontaminate any residential or commercial properties. If you are faced with this difficult task, please call us at 850-855-6349.
